Cookies and browser storage

EnneaFox uses a small amount of browser storage to run the assessment and to measure, in aggregate, how people find the site. There are no advertising cookies.

Draft for owner review. This page has not yet been approved and may change.

Storage set by EnneaFox

  • First visit record (local storage, ef_attr): the page you landed on, the referring site and campaign tags, kept for up to 90 days so a later purchase can be credited to the channel that brought you.
  • Assessment progress (local storage and session storage): lets you resume an unfinished attempt on the same device.
  • Experiment arms (local storage): keeps the page version you were shown consistent between visits.
  • An anonymous visitor identifier for first-party analytics. The server stores only a salted hash of it.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics with advertising features and ad storage turned off everywhere. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics cookies are off by default, so Google receives cookieless measurements only. Elsewhere, Google Analytics may set its standard first-party cookies (names starting with _ga) to count returning visits.

Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and in regions that require consent for analytics cookies they stay off by default. If that changes, we will ask before setting anything new.

How to control it

You can clear or block site storage in your browser settings at any time. The assessment still works; you may lose the ability to resume an unfinished attempt on that device.
